Michael Thomas Edmiston

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike Edmiston has gone on to be with Jesus.

Mike was married to his wife Lorraine for 50 years. Together they raised three children and built a life centered on family and faith. He was a proud Grandpa to nine grandchildren and loved sitting on the floor, playing pretend with them. 

Mike’s world revolved around the family. He could often be found on the sidelines coaching his children’s soccer, basketball, and baseball little league teams. He loved cheering them on in anything they put their minds to. He was known for his steadfast dedication to his family and his enduring, if sometimes painful, devotion to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mike enjoyed fishing and surfing and loved being near the water. In his early twenties, he worked as a ranger for the Florida Park Services at Sebastian Inlet. He later spent most of his career working for the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by his wife, three children, eight grandchildren, and three siblings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
